Elix dedicated servers are obtained through a third party internet service provider to ensure a maximum quality of service and bandwidth throughput. Your server will be located in a data center protected by state of the art security, power management, and fire suppression systems. We have experienced 100% uptime from our server facilities. Any downtime Elix has experienced has been due to configuration issues or scheduled maintenance. Elix offers both unmanaged and fully managed dedicated hosting solutions. With your dedicated server, you will receive access to an online control panel from where you can immediately reboot your server, check your bandwidth, or monitor your system's status. You can be automatically notified of any downtime issues your server experiences. Windows servers include Remote Desktop (Terminal Services) access that allows you to control your server as though you are sitting in front of it. Most other servers include either the award-winning cPanel or another control panel solution of your choice. Windows servers can be retrofitted with Plesk, Helm, or Ensim control panels if desired. Why use Elix if I can get it someplace else? At Elix, we don't just supply the server and the connection. We also help you administer your server. After all, running a dedicated server is no easy task. A server requires upkeep: constant updates for protection against the latest viri and security vulnerabilities, as well as minute configuration tweaks along the way. What about Bandwidth?
